Ali Al Jassim, CEO of Etihad Energy Services and holder of bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering, Masters of Business Administration with Honors and a PhD in Business Management, has 21 years of experience in leading roles delivering programs and projects.

Ali held top positions in both public and private sector entities such as Head of Follow-up and Development Office at the Dubai Municipality, Acting CEO & Director of Drivers Licensing at RTA and General Manager of Qeyadah Driving Solutions.

Presently Ali is leading Etihad - The Super ESCO in the Emirates of Dubai, which will help Dubai to make one of the most sustainable cities and a leading example of energy efficiency for the region and the world.

Under the leadership of Ali, Etihad ESCO has retrofitted 2,184 facilities (offices, staff accommodation, villas etc) and more than 246,000 lighting fixture in 2016 which helped Dubai to save 48 GWh of electricity and 11 MIG of water. His energy saving targets for this year is far ahead as compared to last year and he planned to save of 140 GWh of electricity and 303 MIG of water by end of 2017.

He is playing a key role in the expansion of Etihad ESCO, he formed two vertical under Etihad umbrella– Etihad Solar & Etihad M&V in last 1 year and is currently working to develop District Cooling vertical. He is also strategically planning to expand the footprint of Etihad ESCO to the MENA region and to other parts of the world.

Bachir Rajji

In his current role, Bachir is responsible for all engineering and design activities related to both operational hotels and new projects. He is respected for his consistent technical abilities as well as his innovative and leadership approach to cost saving initiatives and his vast industry knowledge.

Bachir holds an MBA and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from Notre Dame University and has a solid history of hands-on experience as an engineer.

In Addition to his University degrees, Bachir has been always passionate to upgrade his academic, and technical knowledge through international certifications and awards, he has successfully achieved the following: CEA (Certified Energy Auditor), ICT Certified (Infrared Certified Thermography), PMP (Certified Project Management), Certified Security Assessor, and more other trainings and awards.  

He has spent much of his career in the hospitality industry working with international hotel groups across the Middle East and Africa having started as an engineering coordinator before working his way up to senior level roles including operations manager with the opening team for EMCOR Qatar office in Doha.

He was previously with Rotana Hotels Corporate Office, where he first joined them as director of projects, He quickly moved into the role of area director of engineering, where he was responsible for new hotels openings, driving project schedules to meet deadlines in accordance with company strategic expansion plans.

Bachir is a competent communicator who is able to motivate his team and provide the support they need. He is a first-class strategist who prefers to empower the people he works with in order to deliver projects timely and within approved budget.
